Yamaha's XT225 was
the first modern, full-sized dual-sport motorcycle built for
smaller and beginner riders. The 2000 XT225 has a 223cc,
four-stroke powerplant and six-speed transmission. The XT225 has a low seat height, compact wheelbase and wide steering angle. Other XT225 features include an electric starting motor, powered by a sealed and maintenance-free battery; long-travel front forks; adjustable, single-shock rear swingarm suspension; aluminum skid plate protection and a large fuel tank. The 2000 Yamaha XT225 sells for a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $3,849. |
