CRANDON, WI -- If you ever wanted to watch the off-road World Championships from the expensive VIP skyboxes at Crandon Raceway, now is your chance. Thanks to 4 Wheel Parts Performance Centers of Compton, CA, thirteen lucky race fans will have an opportunity to watch the 2001 BorgWarner World Championship Off-Road Races in the exclusive skyboxes. 4 Wheel Parts Performance Center will have a huge display at Crandon Raceway. On Friday evening at the first annual "Friday Night Xtreme Thunderfest, fans can register at the display to win skybox seats for the weekend of racing at Crandon. Kevin Adler, of 4 Wheel Parts Performance Centers, explains that "we are a new sponsor at Crandon and we wanted to do something extra special for the greatest off-road race fans in the country," he said. "We worked with Crandon track officials to secure skybox tickets for thirteen lucky fans". Fans will register for the VIP seating at the Friday Night Xtreme Thunderfest the evening of August 31 between 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. at the 4 Wheel Parts Performance Centers display at the track. Winners of the drawing will be announced over the track public address system at 10 p.m. and they will receive their tickets immediately for Saturday and Sunday's races. The 13 winners will also be invited to a special VIP lunch in the Crandon pits with Rancho Ford F-150 driver Scott Douglas and his wife Jackie on Saturday, September 1 at Noon. Winners will interact with the Crandon World Championship driver and 1997 winner of the BorgWarner Shootout and get a special tour of his pit and race machine. Douglas drives a Pro 4 4x4 race truck -- the pinnacle of off-road racing machines. "I encourage all fans to see the Friday Night Xtreme Thunderfest at Crandon and register at our booth for this special opportunity," said Adler. The Friday Night Xtreme Thunderfest features stock car racing, monster trucks, the "Human Bomb" motorcycle daredevil and Formula 4x4 truck Crandon conducts the 2001 BorgWarner World Championship Off-Road Races on Saturday and Sunday, September 1-2. |
