Conclusion

Whew! The seats are installed and we can enjoy them. In fact they were installed just in time for the 8 to 10 hr trip to the Baja 1000. The first thing noticed is how much easier it is to get in and out of than the Flofit seats. As you can see in the image on the left, the adjustment lever is tucked up nice and close to the seat so that your thigh doesn't get ripped apart. The seats are somewhat softer than the Flofit seats and more similar to the original factory seat, this seems to help soak up the raod bumps that you feel in a lifted vehicle. The seats have enough lateral support to keep you in the seat without feeling trapped. On the way down to Ensenada I drove about 7 hrs straight with only a gas stop and had NO complaints about the seats. They were very comfortable. I like em!

Misc. Comments:

  • If you are installing these in something other than a Blazer I think you will probaly be okay with the standard brackets and only minor modification will be required. If you own a Blazer be prepared to make major modifcations.
  • If you order the Ice Chest option don't expect an insulated Chest area but rather an additial flip up storage area. When you flip the center seat up you will find a plastic bucket that is a great hidden storage area.

Enjoy!!!!
