RH2 Extreme Zero Car Interface Radio Harness

Oct. 22, 2008 By Press Release
One of the many challenges of making radios work well inside the racecar, has been noise.  Noise is created both electronically through the battery, spark plugs and ignition components and engine   exhaust noise.  For years, radio companies involved in motorsports, have attempted to tackle this problem and offered patches for these problems.

radioMultiple electronic devices and harness’ have been offered that claim noise cancelling by digital suppression, digital filters and even those promising filtration by sampling voice algorithms.  The Racers and engineers at RH2 decided to give this continuing process a good look and have created a real solution.  What they found was poor quality wiring, workmanship and connectors in most all current car harness.  In addition, they found virtually no “rf” proofing of the cable itself.

“We were unable to find cable in the current marketplace that was worthy of the project, so we had special “noise proof” cable stranded and wrapped.  It was a tiring and costly process but ultimately yielded a mechanical solution to a mechanical problem.  I must admit, we too looked at covering up the problem with electronics but chose to address the base of the issue rather than hiding it”, says Brad Smith of RH2.

\The car harness is available in single and dual radio applications and will work with current helmet microphone kits, Motorola radios and push to talk switches from most manufactures.   The harness is guaranteed for life to the original purchaser and is offered in several custom tailored lengths for applications in trucks and buggies.  The harness for single in car radio application retails for $250, dual radio car harness is available for $350.  For more information, contact RH2 at 877-357-7223 or www.rh2way.com
