Advanced FLOW engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance cold air intakes, filters and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of its new Stage 2 cold air intake for the 2009 Ford F150 with the 5.4L V8 part numbers 54-11622 and 51-11622.
aFe Stage 2 air intake systems utilize specially designed 3.5-inch 409 stainless steel powder coated intake tubes that are designed to maximize air velocity and improve horsepower, torque, throttle response and MPG. The durable, one-piece 18-gauge powder coated heat shield blocks out engine heat and draws cold air from through the fender well. 54-11622 includes the patented Pro-5R filter, which utilizes five layers of progressive cotton media that produces excellent filtration and maximum flow. 51-11622 includes the brand new Pro Dry S filter, which uses a progressive synthetic media, which requires no oil to recharge for maximum convenience.

In recent testing, aFe says that part number 54-11622 out flowed the factory intake by 35 percent and produced an astonishing more 14 horsepower and 23ft. lbs. greater torque. (Tested with MACH Force exhaust part number 49-43015)
