The goals of the program are twofold. First the program aims to get people and families out into the back-country for challenging, fun drives on 4x4 roads and trails in the San Bernardino National Forest. Trails include adventures for all skill and comfort levels, from simple to "two tracks" to challenging trails.
The second goal involves trail care. While out on the trails, participants will take care of the tracks and roads by removing easily found and hauled trash items. By experiencing and taking care of the beautiful back-country areas, program organizers hope to instill a sense of stewardship and responsibility for public lands in all participants. This is the best way to assure that the public lands managing agencies will keep the land accessible and maintained for everyone's enjoyment.
Goal: Find and remove trash left behind on public lands and enjoy a great day on 4x4 trails in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest around Bear Lake
