At the November club meeting the Inland Empire 4 Wheelrs (sic) voted to induct Del Albright as an Honorary Member of IE4W. “IE4W is proud to make this gesture to recognize a person who has worked tirelessly to increase awareness. This directly helps our club and four wheeling as a whole.” Stated George “PDiddy” Biddlecombe, Past President, “While it may be Del’s job as BRC Ambassador, he does it with such genuine enthusiasm, that it infects those around him, and advances the sport by getting people involved.” IE4W remains committed to Blue Ribbon Coalition and the outstanding efforts by Del Albright and the other members of the BRC Team. BRC's advocacy over the past 23 years has ensured that recreationists are not ignored, and has established BRC as a credible voice against the anti-access groups who, in the absence of BRC's opposition, would strip away our recreational opportunities. IE4W has donated $10,000 to BRC over the past two years to help fund this effort.
IE4W is a family oriented 4 Wheel Drive club formed for the enjoyment and preservation of 4 wheeling. Consisting of short wheel based vehicles, such as Jeeps, Toyotas and Broncos, IE4W has monthly runs that take them to the local Mountains or deserts of Barstow and the Salton Sea. IE4W members also organize trips to the Rubicon in Lake Tahoe, Moab UT, Parker Arizona and other off-road areas in the Western United States. IE4W is a pro-active club and hosts the “Big Bear Forest Fest” each year to raise awareness of the San Bernardino National Forest and raise money to keep our access to these public lands open for recreation.
