Aug. 07, 2007 By Press Release
ACCOKEEK, MD (August 7, 2007) — Beretta continues to provide the Western Shooter with an extraordinary combination of 19th –century original feel and function with unprecedented  reliability, safety and performance with the Gold Rush Rifle, Gold Rush Carbine and Gold Rush Deluxe.

The Gold Rush Rifle is a fast-handling pump-action longarm that is perfect for Cowboy Action Shooting, small-game hunting and informal target practice.  This rifle is chambered for the 45LC and the 357 Mag/38 Special.    Some of the features of this exceptional firearm are a 24 ¼” octagonal barrel, a tubular magazine that holds 13 rounds, and a highly-figured, high-grade checkered walnut stock.  The Gold Rush has a buckhorn-rear sight that is fully adjustable for windage and elevation.

A testament to authenticity coupled with modern performance, The Gold Rush Carbine offers several enhancements to the original.  A solid transfer-bar safety mechanism designed within the hammer, makes the gun absolutely safe to load and unload without having to lower the hammer.  The cartridge feeding system is also improved on the Carbine by ensuring that each cartridge is perfectly in line with the chamber allowing smooth and trouble-free shooting.  Additionally, a new totally redesigned cycling mechanism makes it possible to obtain the consistent high reload speeds without jams.  The Gold Rush Carbine is chambered in a 45 LC and a 357 Mag with a 20 inch barrel length.  The magazine will hold 10 rounds.

The newest addition to the Gold Rush line is the Gold Rush Deluxe which is a special edition to both the Rifle and Carbine lines.  Features of the Gold Rush Deluxe include charcoal-blued barrels, jeweled hammer and trigger as well as a German silver medallion inlaid into the walnut stock.    The Deluxe stock and forend are a work of art featuring a special fish-scale checkering, oil fish and Beretta “three-arrow” logo engraved in the checkering pattern.
