Based on numerous customer requests, we have recently added a line of off-road products specifically designed for the ZJ Grand Cherokee (1993- 1998). First to debut is our time tested front bumper with integrated winch mount and optional brush guard. This popular style bumper has served hundreds of XJ driving off-roaders since our inception in 1994 and has received rave reviews on web sites such as Off-Road.com and Jeepin.com.
We have refined the bumper design over the years to ensure we exceed customer expectations for demanding off-road use and fit and finish. As with all our products, these items come powder coated black, are carefully inspected, and expertly packaged before shipment.
For the ZJ, we were faced with several challenges to ensure the Mounting system could handle the force a 9,500 lb capacity winch can generate. As with all our products, the ZJ bumper is designed for serious off-roading with ¼ inch thick steel mounting brackets and graded hardware to maximize safety and strength. Installation can be performed with basic hand tools in an afternoon; although we recommend you have a friend with you to assist with alignment. The integrated D-ring tabs are a full 1 inch thick and allow you to quickly hook up your vehicle for extraction while the optional brush guard provides a location to mount two driving/fog lamps and is as attractive as it is functional. Approximately 90 percent of our customers request this accessory on initial purchase or shortly thereafter.

Now that we have the front bumper ready to ship, we are turning our attention toward finalizing a set of rocker guards and other ZJ accessories. The guards are especially handy on longer wheelbase rigs such as the ZJ where the rocker panels are more prone to damage from off-road obstacles. Our rocker guards allow you to slide over and pivot around obstacles with confidence. Go ahead, drag them over the rocks and let them scrape. That is what they are made for and love to do. Meanwhile your rocker panels remain straight and true ensuring proper door operation.

Currently, the Custom 4X4 Fabrication prototype shop is testing our first ZJ rear bumper and tire carrier. We know customers are anxious to get their hands on a professionally made and well-fitted rear bumper/tire carrier combo that works as good on the trail as it looks. This was a difficult task to perform on the WJ and the ZJ threw us some curves too.
However, our customers demand our best. So, we continued to calculate, bend, cut and calculate some more to come up with a bumper that is as appealing as it is functional. We are sure you will like the design with its steel rear corner panels, integrated 2-inch receiver hitch, and famous rattle free/no sag tire carrier.
