Mac Tools Announces New Family of High Performance Tachometers and Guages

Columbus, OH - Responding to the increased demand for better accessories for performance compact cars, Mac Tools introduces a new family of precision crafted high performance tachometers and gauges for street machine enthusiasts who want to create a custom look for their vehicles.

The new Mac ToolsTM Performance Tachometers and Mac ToolsTM Performance Gauges overhaul the design of traditional accessories while offering professional racing-quality features. Both the tachs and gauges come complete with white-faced dials for increased visibility, and are framed with polished stainless steel for the strength and durability necessary for accurate readings. Their slim design also makes it easier to install them in an automobile's tight interior.

The Mac ToolsTM Performance Tachometers, in 3.5-inch and 5-inch diameter sizes, have design innovations enthusiasts are sure to appreciate. With a special 360-degree lighting system that lights up the entire dial, the tachs provide drivers with added visibility. This added visibility at night helps drivers shift with more accuracy, and is an advantage over traditional single bulb lighting systems that do not light the entire tach. Drivers can also set the shift points at chosen intervals to light up with an LED display for even more precision, or use the detachable external shift light on the 5-inch tach to signal the time to shift. Their vibration-resistant air core meter design increases accuracy up to 10,000 RPMs, and they can operate with 2,3,4,5,6,8 and 10 cylinder engines.

The Mac ToolsTM Performance Gauges are 2 inches in diameter and measure oil pressure, water temperature or volts. The Mac ToolsTM Performance Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge measures 0-100 PSI and is connected to the engine with a 72-inch high-temperature nylon tube. With this capillary tube the mechanical oil pressure gauge has an advantage over electrical gauges that only read electric signals to determine oil pressure.

The Mac ToolsTM Performance Mechanical Water Temp Gauge has the same benefits of the oil pressure gauge and measures from 100 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. The Mac ToolsTM Performance Voltmeter Gauge measures from 8 to 18 volts of electricity. All three individual gauges are housed in eye-catching chrome panel.

The Triple Mac ToolsTM Performance Gauge Set reads water and oil temperatures, volts, and oil pressure, and combines the features of each individual gauge into one single panel with all three gauges together.
