2007 Moab Jeep Safari - Vendor Show

41st Annual Moab Jeep Safari

Apr. 05, 2007 By Jaime Hernandez

Its been a beautiful week here in Moab, UT.  The Moab Jeep Safari put on by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers, Inc. has been great.  Today was the opening day of their off road vendor show at the Spanish Trails Arena.  Some of the big names in off-road were on site displaying the latest Jeep accessories.

This event has been so successful that it has grown to over 50 vendors.  Many manufacturers and off-road retailers like coming out to the Moab Jeep Safari and participating in the vendor show because it gives them the opportunity to talk to hardcore wheelers, and see what it is they are looking for.

Although the Moab Jeep Safari is open to other makes and models, Jeep is king on the trails, so why shouldn’t it be here at the show.  Walking around the show there was something for every Jeep under the sun.  Many of the aftermarket parts and vehicle modifications being introduced make ones imagination run wild on what set-up would make the ultimate trail rig.

The show is made up of both outdoor and indoor booths.  It was such a nice sunny day that being outside was definitely the place to be.  If it got too hot, then there was more to see indoors in the arena.  We found some new products that most of you will want to add to your wish list.

Fab Fours has bumpers for both your trail and tow rigs

Fab Fours bumpers are a fairly new company to off-road, but their bold design is taking the off-road nation by storm.  They have been involved with various magazine builds, and are definitely growing in numbers out on the trails.  They have a very good looking bumper for the Jeep Wrangler JK, and are the only ones currently producing 2008 Ford Super Duty bumper.  They also have some nice ones for other tow rigs like Chevy and Dodge diesel trucks.

Walking around the show and talking to different wheelers and Jeep aftermarket part manufacturers it is evident that the off-road industry is doing well.  The new Jeep Wrangler JK has definitely had a huge impact and continues to grow the Jeep enthusiast market.

A hot mod this year seems to be dropping HEMIs into Jeeps.  Some have taken it as far as putting the SRT8 HEMI 6.1L in them.  We saw a Jeep Wrangler JK with a HEMI 6.1L and some suspension modifications with a price tag of $70K.  How much do you love your Jeep?

KC HiLites had some new products like their HID lights, and a complete off-road light bar ready to bolt on to the Jeep Wrangler JK.  From old school to new school, the KC HiLites brand has been on the trails and has proven to be rugged and dependable.
