It was in early 1966 when Kawasaki first started producing motorcycles in the U.S. market under the American Kawasaki Motorcycle Corp. name. Since then, the company has established itself as a leader in the off-road motorcycle market, offering dual-purpose models, sport and motorcross dirt bikes in its KLR, KLX and KX bikes.
