Rob MacCachren is on a tear in the Pro 2 class, as he swept the class yet again in Reno.

The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series made a stop this past weekend at the Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, Nevada, for Round 11 & 12 of the 2016 short-course racing series.

With only a handful of races remaining, Rob MacCachren looks to be a lock to wrap up the regular season championship in the Pro 2 class. MacCachren swept the class again in Reno, holding off RJ Anderson and Carl Renezeder at Round 11, and then he returned to the top of the podium at Round 12 and held off the next closest racers in the points standings, Jeremy McGrath and Anderson, who finished in second and third, respectively.

Kyle Leduc is looking for a return to 2015 form this year. He's been on a good run lately, and in Reno he earned one class win and another third-place finish.

In the Pro 4 class, Keyl LeDuc started off the weekend right with a win in the first race, edging out Adrian “The Wild Man” Cenni in second and Bradley Morris in third. LeDuc was unable to match his Round 11 performance but did manage to place third at Round 12, where Rob MacCachren earned his third win of the weekend by holding off second-place Eric Barron.

Jerett Brooks earned the Round 11 victory, spliting the class victories with Ryan Beat.

In the Pro Lite class it’s still anyone’s game, as Jerett Brooks held off Brock Heger and Ryan beat at Round 11. On the second night of racing, Beat this time finished atop the podium after holding off Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and Jeff Hoffman in second and third, respectively.

Mike Valentine didn't come away with a win in Reno, but he did earn two third-place finishes.

In the Pro Buggy class, Darren Hardesty secured his second win of the season at Round 11, while Kevin McCullough earned his fourth victory of the year during Round 12 action.

RJ Anderson earned a second- and third-place finish in the Pro 2 class over the weekend.

The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series will return to action at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Southern California September 23-24, with only the season finale to follow in late October in Chandler, Arizona, at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park.
