The 2017 Polaris RZR Mint 400 Presented by BFGoodrich is ready to kick off this weekend just outside of Las Vegas in Jean, Nevada. The Trick Truck and Class 1500 unlimited buggies qualified yesterday for this year’s race, and it was a tight finish between the Trick Truck of Jason Voss (4:00.83) and the 1500 buggy of Harley Letner (4:01.28).
Finishing just behind Letner in third is Andy McMillin, with Rob MacCachren and Bryce Menzies finishing in fourth and fifth, respectively. The next fastest Class 1500 buggy was that of Ray Griffith, who was the 13th fastest qualifier though his lap time was nearly 14 seconds behind Letner’s.
Tomorrow is tech and contingency in downtown Las Vegas, which will be an all-day event (and one worth checking out if you’ll be in the area). Race day for the 2017 Mint 400 will be on Saturday. For more information, head over to TheMint400.com.
