Bringing 10 years of off-road editorial experience, Craig Perronne’s new role as Editor-in-Chief will involve providing overall vision and direction to Off-Road.com, the consumer’s number one choice for off-road videos, news, discussion forms and reviews. Perronne has been riding dirt bikes for 24 years and off-roading for 19, so he brings an enthusiast’s perspective to the editorial content. “I am excited to make the jump to Off-Road.com. It’s a massive site with over 565,000 unique visitors a month so it is a big and welcomed challenge,” Perronne said. ”Helping to create new, engaging tools, fresh content and easier navigation will be priorities for me.” Prior to Off-Road.com, Craig served as Editor-in-Chief for Dirt Sports magazine, which he helped launch in 2004. Along with serving as point on Dirt Sports, Perronne has also worked for Four Wheeler, 4 Wheel & Off-Road, 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility and Off-Road magazines. In addition, he is an avid off-road and motor sports enthusiast and brings extensive experience, valuable insight and leadership to Off-Road.com. Craig’s first assignment was a big one as he had planned to head to Africa for the 2008 Dakar rally. Embedded with Team Volkswagen, Perronne was to provide a behind-the-scenes look at one of the top teams to take on the legendary Dakar - but as of January 4, the rally for 2008 has been cancelled. Stay tuned to Off-Road.com for further updates - we have no doubt that there are more adventures ahead.
