The grand prize centerpiece is Little Spruce, a right-hand drive 1996 Toyota HiAce imported from Japan. Powered by a dependable 1KZ turbo diesel engine with full-time 4WD and equipped with three moonroofs, this vintage rig has just under 60,000 miles on it. While Little Spruce is 28 years old, Passenger promises it has plenty of life left in it—rattles and all. Passenger has invested in extensive maintenance, including a set of BF Goodrich KO2 tires, a new Bluetooth stereo, and a backup camera to keep this 28-year-old van road-ready.

The highlight, however, is the full camper conversion. Bellingham-based Wabi Works transformed the HiAce into a cozy home on wheels, complete with a full Dometic kitchen, custom rollout storage, and a Hest double mattress. The kitchen setup includes a JetBoil Genesis Basecamp stove, a Dometic CFX3 45-liter electric cooler, and two Dometic PLB40 power banks to keep everything running smoothly off the grid.
