If you have been waiting on the Rivian R1T Launch Edition’s June delivery, we’ve got some bad news for you. Rivian has delayed deliveries of its electric truck for one month until July, 2021. Completing of the Launch Edition deliveries will, according to Rivian, be completed by the spring of 2022.

For those of you itching to take the R1T for a test drive, Rivian has announced that its “Drive Program” will start in August in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, and New York in August. Rivian says more cities will be added, so hopefully one will be available not too far from where you live.

If you do plan to book a test drive, it is worth noting that people on the preorder list will have the first kick at the can.
