The 2025 Bronco Sport offers two powertrain options: a 180-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine and a more powerful 238-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the latter exclusive to the Badlands trim. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, with the Badlands variant featuring steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Additionally, the Bronco Sport’s towing capacity has been improved, with the 2.0-liter model now capable of towing up to 2,700 pounds, and the 1.5-liter model able to tow 2,200 pounds.

For off-road capabilities, the Bronco Sport Badlands trim is equipped with a 1.0-inch lift, torque-vectoring twin-clutch rear differential, underbody skid plates, and upgraded suspension. The Sasquatch Package builds on these features, making it available on both the Badlands and Outer Banks trims. It includes steel front and rear bumpers with recovery points, a higher approach angle of 31.2 degrees, and enhanced ground clearance of 8.7 inches. The Badlands Sasquatch also features upgraded rear dampers from Bilstein, designed to provide better cushioning at higher speeds.
