Weighing just 5.6 pounds, this cover is intended to protect the cabin area of your Wrangler, leaving the hood and front fenders exposed. This is great if you live in a climate where you enjoy running the Jeep with the top off for extended periods but also need to quickly cover up in the event of an impending rainstorm. Speaking of, real-world customers report this cab cover doesn’t pool much water in the middle area, preventing sag and warding off leaks. While the headline on this product says it is for a Wrangler Unlimited, further information says it is actually for a 2-door Wrangler. Following through to feedback left by people who spent their own money on this item, it’s clear the actual application is indeed for 2-door Jeeps. Read carefully, folks. Most customers had good things to say about this cover’s water resistance, but those who were unhappy were particular incensed. Nevertheless, it has an elasticized hem to keep itself in place plus a long windproof strap with a buckle. A reflective stripe is good for visibility outdoors, while a double-stitched elasticized hem is said to add security and help keep it from blowing away.
Is a Jeep Wrangler cover worth buying?
