With 2025 marking the 40th anniversary of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Arctic Trucks has introduced the Land Cruiser 250 / Prado AT37, a re-engineered off-road vehicle designed for extreme conditions. Developed through a collaboration between Arctic Trucks’ teams in Iceland and the UK, along with Toyota Africa distributor CFAO, the AT37 builds on Arctic Trucks’ legacy of modifying Toyota vehicles for challenging environments. Arctic Trucks, originally founded as a Toyota special vehicles division in 1990, has a long history of modifying four-wheel-drive vehicles for extreme environments. The company has set multiple world records, including the first wheeled vehicle to travel from the Magnetic North Pole to the South Pole.

Arctic Trucks Land Cruiser 250 / Prado AT37 Highlights:

  • 37-inch tires: Choice of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 or Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires mounted on Arctic Trucks’ new forged alloy wheels.
  • Enhanced suspension: A 2-way adjustable performance suspension system co-developed with Dakar-winning specialists R53 Suspension.
  • Frame and body modifications: Reprofiling of the Land Cruiser’s frame, body, and drivetrain to accommodate larger tires and improve ground clearance.
  • Extended wheelbase and wider track: Improves on-road handling while maintaining off-road capability.
  • OEM-grade integration: Retains compatibility with Toyota safety and performance systems, including recalibrated speedometer and tire pressure monitoring.

Additional modifications include high-grip side steps, contoured mudguards, and Arctic Trucks branding throughout the interior and exterior. A multifunction receiver hitch allows for a variety of accessories, enhancing the vehicle’s adaptability.
