CLACKAMAS, OR – Warn Industries, Inc. has been chosen by Ford Motor Company as a Gold winner in its World Excellence Awards, an honor that puts Warn in the elite class of only 14 companies worldwide.
Warn President John Stransky was presented the award at Ford’s annual celebration on Thursday, May 23 at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Mich.
A total of 35 companies internationally were given the honor by Ford in two categories – Gold and Silver – in recognition as one of Ford’s top-performing global suppliers.
This is the second year in a row that Warn has received a World Excellence Award. It was awarded a Silver award last year for 2011. This year, Warn’s Gold award puts it alongside only five U.S. companies out of thousands who serve as suppliers to Ford.
“We are exceptionally proud to be honored in this fashion,” said Stransky. “Consumers and companies, such as Ford, have come to trust us to deliver the highest level of quality in our products, and we continue to strive to be worthy of that trust.”
Ford Motor Company, a global automotive industry leader, manufactures or distributes automobiles across six continents. With about 175,000 employees and 65 plants worldwide, the company’s automotive brands include Ford and Lincoln.
