Looking for an off-road rig built by an American aerospace and defense company? Textron has a couple of new options for you.

Technically, of course, the machines shown here are from the branch of Textron called Specialized Vehicles. The arm has already shown off the Havoc X; now, the Havoc and Havoc Backcountry joins that model. Meanwhile, the Wildcat XX gets a few more horses and a cousin called the Wildcat XX LTD.

“We are excited to expand the Havoc and Wildcat XX offerings for 2019,” said John Collins, Vice President, Consumer for Textron Specialized Vehicles. “Both vehicles were highly anticipated and continue to see growth in the marketplace. The new models give enthusiasts even more options from which to choose to meet their specific needs and uses.”

A quick refresher: the Havoc X is a side-by-side for riders get work done while having a bit of fun. It’s powered by a 100-horse EFI able of hauling 2000 pounds and handling a 600 pound payload. The suspension is nothing to sneeze at, with Fox 2.5 Podium QS3 shocks allowing for 13 inches of ground clearance. Seats with better bolsters are new for 2019. Not bad for $17,799.

New for this year is a base model Havoc, priced $1500 below the Havoc X but still offering the same levels of towing and hauling. Even though it bins a few creature comforts, it is still equipped with the 100hp engine and electric power steering. It’s available in any color you want so long as it’s red.

These two models are joined for 2019 by the Havoc Backcountry Edition, targeted at recreational riders. The rig has a few styling tweaks compared to the standard Havoc while featuring standard racks on the roof and hood. It’s priced identically to the Havoc X.

Challenging the sporty side of off-roading are the Wildcat series of machines. For 2019, the Wildcat XX gets an upgrade in horsepower to 130HP, a number which the company claims to make for the highest horsepower naturally aspirated vehicle in its class. The brute is offered in Bright White with a MSRP of $20,699.

Tacking the LTD suffix to its name adds all manner of kit, not the least of which are rugged bumpers and a half-windshield to help keep the bugs out of yer teeth. A marine-grade Bimini Roof featuring a built-in roll-up top is on board as well. Riders also can listen to tunes while with the vehicle’s marine-grade stereo system. The system is controlled via Bluetooth and an LCD display that includes a radio tuner and AUX input. The new Wildcat XX LTD is available in Jet Black and retails for $21,999.

All Havoc and Wildcat XX models are built in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. They’ll be available in dealerships later this Fall.
