Skyjacker, the suspension company that’s been around since approximately the dawn of off-roading, has announced two new lift kits for the Jeep Wrangler JL.
Its new lift systems for the Wrangler JL and Rubicon are available in three flavors, ranging from a mild 1-1.5” lift to a sky-high 3.5-4” kit. Rubicon and non-Rubicon models get separate kits that are equally priced.

Systems feature extended sway bar end links which allow for long travel as well as bump stop extensions to make sure the suspension clears the tires at bump. Long travel front and rear shocks are length-fitted to offer the maximum extension allowable for full articulation.
Designed to tackle gnarly off-road maneuvers with an eye to highway usability, the kit’s dual-rate long travel coil springs have unique left and right spring rates like those found in the OEM coils. This allows the best of both worlds on the street and off the trail.
The 1st spring rate smooths out highway ride while expanding the coils off-road during articulation as the suspension droops to keep the tires in contact with the ground much longer than a single rate coil. This results in a smoother ride while maintaining the coil in the upper coil bucket even at full droop.
Second rate (lower coils) only engage after compression stretches past the 1st rate. This second-rate allows consistent control and stability during body roll and heavy off-road suspension movement. Choose your preference from either M95 Monotube or Black Max Front and Rear Long Travel shocks.
Skyjacker’s gonzo-sized 3.5-4” Lift Systems include all of the above items but also include a front adjustable track bar (no pitman arm required) for the proper required steering geometry and axle centering. Grade 8 mounting hardware means the bolts and screws went to school longer than your cousin Ralph and guards against high-stress shearing.
Prices range from $549.96 for the smallest 1” lift to $944.82 for 4” kit.
These new Jeep JL Suspension Systems will be shipping from the Skyjacker facilities later this month on February 28th.
