Mopar must have loaded up their biggest cargo container when planning for this year’s SEMA Show, revealing a selection of the 200 new performance parts and accessories for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler.
The Mopar brand’s new lineup, created with more than 100,000 hours of development, validation, and testing, allows owners to personalize the new Wrangler for any adventure or lifestyle. The products will be available in dealerships in time for the new Wrangler’s launch.

New products available for the JL Wrangler ever include Jeep Performance Parts lifts kits, beadlock-capable wheels, off-road bumpers, LED off-road lights, and rock rails. Mopar accessories include a roof rack for mounting a variety of lifestyle cargo carriers and a tailgate table for when you just have to chow down while out on the trail.
There are legions of aftermarket companies catering to Jeep enthusiasts, creating an industry to provide everything from off-road gear to wild styling flourishes. This time, Mopar seems to be getting out in front of the aftermarket, offering their widest selection yet of FCA approved upgrades.
“Jeep Wrangler deserves nothing but the best, which is why the Mopar and Jeep brands have developed a new set of product solutions to meet the unique lifestyles of Wrangler owners,” said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA. Accessories and performance parts are a high margin, lucrative business, so it makes sense why the company wants to get into it in a big way. It is estimated that a full 98 percent of Wranglers have at least one Mopar product bolted onto them somewhere.
New Jeep Performance Parts LED off-road lights, available in 5- and 7-inch applications, pump out a maximum of 8,000 lumens, meaning commercial and military grade illumination is now in the hands of Jeep off-roaders. The off-road lights mount to the frame rails, winch guard, or windshield via new brackets available from, you guessed it, Mopar.
A new auxiliary switch bank featuring its own power distribution center offers a great central area for operating accessories such as off-road lights, a winch, or just about any other electrical-powered items. Plus, banks of switches allow drivers to indulge in their Top Gun fantasies.
Jeep Performance Parts rock rails are said to be thicker, wider, and sprayed with the same stuff Ram uses for bedliners, allowing for some gnarly Jeep-on-rock action. Wrangler owners can also spring for a 2-inch lift kit that, when paired with Wrangler high-top fender flares, will accommodate gonzo 37-inch tires.
The Mopar brand’s line of Jeep Performance Parts and accessories for the all-new Wrangler was developed in conjunction with the Jeep brand and product design office through extensive development, testing, and validation. Killer accessories and performance parts designed by factory engineers who know the new Wrangler inside out? To us, that sounds like a case of getting to have your cake and eat it, too.
