SALT LAKE CITY, UT – NASCAR driver Robby Gordon, Mi7 Events and Blessing Bridge International are proud to present the inaugural 2011 Robby Gordon SPEED Energy Desert Challenge – Sept 29 – Oct 2.
Due to an overwhelming demand, this event will be staged at the $110 Million Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah upon 900 acres of private property, to guarantee spectators an unobstructed view of all the action and will be filmed for HDTV!
Joining Robby Gordon will be other top racing greats including: “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin-Monster Energy, Bryce Menzies & Gus Vildosola-Team RedBull, “Pistol” Pete Sohren, Joe Willardsen-Team Nitro Circus from as far away as Canada and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to showcase for the first time ever in Utah, Trophy Trucks, Class 1’s, Class 10’s, Class 12’s Class 16’s, & Class 72’s.

As if that weren’t enough action for the extreme sports fanatic, Mike “the Godfather of Freestyle Motocross” Metzger, along with the superstars of global FMX including: Brody Wilson, Libor Podmol (the Czech Republic), Allistair “Jackalas” Sayer (South Africa), Rob Adleberg (Australia) and many others will be here competing! These incredible athletes have competed in venues including: The Dew Tour, X Games, IFMA, AFMXA, Rockstar Mayhem Festival Tour, Journeys Backyard BBQ Tour, Gravity Games and RedBull X-Fighters!
The event promises action packed entertainment and will also include Quads along with a star-studded live concert series.
The inaugural Robby Gordon’s SPEED Energy Desert Challenge will also help to raise money to benefit the children of America, with a portion of the net proceeds disbursed to multiple organizations around the country.
