Nissan is doubling down on its recent Star Wars partnership, and fans looking for an early stocking stuffer will want to make their way to dealerships this weekend. Nissan will be offering free Death Trooper helmet keychains at Nissan dealerships – that is, as long as supplies last.
Nissan says that 200,000 key chains were distributed among Nissan’s U.S. dealership base, but apparently a small number of those – 200, to be exact – are limited edition, high-gloss finish, black-chrome versions of the special keepsake.

“This is another way for us to celebrate the magic and excitement of Nissan’s alliance with Lucasfilm and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story during the holidays,” said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications & Media, Nissan North America, Inc. “And of course we hope that our guests will also take a moment to discover the 2017 Nissan Rogue family of vehicles, including the 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars limited editions that are arriving to dealerships now.”
Nissan just unveiled the 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition at the LA Auto Show. This is the first production vehicle ever to include Star Wars-branding, as the Rogue features a Star Wars badge, exclusive interior and exterior trim features, and a full-sized, limited-edition Death Trooper collectible helmet.
