When Nissan unveiled its Rogue One version of the Rogue recently at the LA Auto Show, it was also announced that each special edition of the SUV would come with a Death Trooper helmet – totally cool, but it made us wonder which side of the force they were on. Nissan proved recently it’s clearly on the light side of the force with its partnership with Star Wars: Force for Change, where Amazon and Nissan will help with Toys for Tots between now and December 18th.
“Nissan’s alliance with Lucasfilm and Star Wars reminds us that everybody has the choice to be a hero, and the holidays are a time when many children can benefit from the generosity of everyday heroes,” said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications & Media, Nissan North America, Inc. “This toy drive is a way of bringing the magic and excitement of Star Wars to kids, so that they may experience the joy of Christmas and a message of hope.”
Nissan says that when a toy is gifted from the www.amazon.com/ROGUETOYDRIVE Wish List, additional gifts will be provided by the automaker, with all gifts being delivered to Toys for Tots for distribution before Dec. 22, 2016. So if you want to be on Santa’s “Nice” list, or maybe make up for the naughty things up until now, head over to Amazon to help get some toys to deserving kids.
