A leaked document could have just revealed the specifications for the highly anticipated 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor.
A user on FordRaptorForum.com has posted screenshots from Ford’s eSourceBook application showing that the high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine being used in the new Raptor will produce 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Compared to the outgoing 6.2-liter V8 engine, the new V6 mill has 39 hp and 76 lb-ft of torque more.
The numbers are realistic, considering the new Ford F-150 has a variant with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 making 365 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque.

Another detail that was part of the leak shows that the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will have a towing capacity of 8,000 pounds, matching the last-generation model.
The American automaker has yet to confirm these figures, but we can expect more information as we get closer to the truck’s launch this fall.
