Cypress, Calif. (August, 2016) – Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc., a leading manufacturer of off-road and street performance tires, is ready to take over Angel Stadium of Anaheim once again when its Auto Enthusiast Day event returns to California on Sunday, August 14th. Now in its fourth year, the free event will be open from 10am to 5pm and includes a car show, driving demos from Team Nitto drivers, a vendor midway, special raffle prizes and giveaways, and food trucks.
Nitto Tire’s Auto Enthusiast Day has become the must-attend event of the Southern California car show season. Since the event began in 2013, it has grown exponentially, bringing in more cars, more vendors, more spectators, and more thrilling driving demos. Continuing this trend of growth, the 4th annual event has even more in store for enthusiasts as Nitto pulls out all the stops to create the ultimate automotive experience for the over 12,500 people expected to be in attendance.
“Auto Enthusiast Day is something that we look forward to every year,” said Harry Kong, Brand Publishing Events and Motorsports for Nitto Tire. “It’s unlike any other event on the calendar and it’s as much fun for us to attend as it is to put on. Nitto is a company that is Fueled by Enthusiasts and we feel that it’s extremely important for us to give back to the community that has supported us since the beginning.”
No matter where your automotive passions lie, there is going to be something at Auto Enthusiast Day for you. Much like in previous years, there will be a huge car show for clubs and enthusiasts to show off their lovingly modified, customized, or restored vehicles, incredible driving demonstrations by the ultra-talented Team Nitto drivers Vaughn Gittin Jr., Alex Heilbrunn, Matt Powers, Loren Healy and Jason Blanton, a Vendor Midway that will showcase the coolest new products in the automotive industry, and raffle giveaways for prizes ranging from apparel to a ride along with a Team Nitto driver. There will also be a Virtual Reality experience presented by Driving Line will where fans will be able to ride shotgun with two-time King of the Hammers champion Shannon Campbell in his Ultra4 buggy as well as with Team Nitto drift drivers as they slide inches from each other’s doors.
