At the 2013 Monster Energy Cup, Toyota pledged a new Toyota truck to the first rider to capture all three Main Event holeshots. Toyota will again offer a brand new 2015 Toyota to the rider who can race to the holeshot first in all three Main Events this year. The 2014 Monster Energy Cup will also mark the 2012 Monster Energy Cup Champion Justin Barcia’s debut with the Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX team.

“Feld Motor Sports could not be happier with the continued support we have received from Toyota year after year,” said Dave Prater, director of supercross, Feld Motor Sports. “We’re looking forward to seeing someone grab all three holeshots for the first-time-ever at the Monster Energy Cup and take home a new Toyota truck.”

In the past, Toyota has offered fans the most interactive experience in the pits, and the 2014 Monster Energy Cup will not be any different. This year’s Toyota Zone Pit Party will feature the ever-popular Tundra Teeter Totter, where fans will have the chance to hop inside a Tundra full-size pickup perched atop a pivoting platform and attempt to balance the truck with both ends of the platform off the ground. Fans can also experience the thrill of the Toyota Quake Runner, spin the Tacoma prize wheel and play the Camry Name That Tune game. An all-star line-up of BMX riders will also duke it out in the BMX Best Trick presented Toyota competition throughout the day in the Pit Party.

“From the holeshot competition to the pit party, Toyota wants to give riders and fans alike something to look forward to this season,” said Keith Dahl, corporate manager of motorsports, Toyota.

The Monster Energy Cup pre-race press conference featuring the world’s top supercross riders Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, Davi Millsaps, Eli Tomac, 2012 Monster Energy Cup champion Justin Barcia and Trey Canard. Also in attendance will be Austin Forkner from the Amateur All-Star Class and the Super-Mini Class’ Chase Sexton will stream live Friday, October 17 at 3:00 p.m. ET. The afternoon qualifying sessions on race day will also be streamed live on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET.

The 2014 Monster Energy Cup features an all-new track design inspired by 15-time AMA National Champion Ricky Carmichael. The Carmichael-inspired track design will consist of supercross and motocross obstacles unlike any other racetrack design in the world. The Monster Energy Cup track will include a unique split start where 11 riders from each side will blitz down a long straightway to huge 180 degree bowl turns, then converge into one lane. The Monster Energy Cup posts a $250,000 purse with the winner walking away with a $100,000 check, and any rider that wins all three Main Events will take home $1 million.
