If you’re looking to spend nearly $400k on a six-wheel Chevy, then Hennessey has the truck for you.
Hot on the heels of the company’s VelociRaptor 6X6, the team at Hennessey Performance (HPE) felt they needed another six-wheel drive truck in their stable of exclusive off-road rigs. Called the Hennessey Goliath 6×6, takes a 2019/2020 Chevrolet Silverado pickup and turns the volume all the way to eleven.
The clear modification is the addition of an extra axle, increasing the number of tires, brakes, and wheels by 50% over a standard truck. The bed is a custom build and the rear suspension system has been thoroughly vetted by HPE boffins to ensure it all plays together nicely. This ain’t no homemade bodge job.
You’re also looking at an eight-inch lift kit, 37-inch Toyo Open County rubber, and HPE’s own 20-inch wheels. There are enough LEDs to light up the dark side of the moon, illumination which pairs well with the slightly retro roll bar.
Powertrain components have also been massaged to the tune of 450bhp. Specific mention is made of a cold air intake and stainless steel exhaust. You can bet there’s some other custom fettling going on under that tall black hood as well.
The base price for the 2019 Goliath 6X6 is $375,000, which includes a new Chevy Silverado truck. How kind of them. Production is limited to just 24 units and the rig is available for export to international markets. The Hennessey Goliath 6X6 is available directly from Hennessey or from select Chevrolet dealers.
