Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door Backbone, Rhino-Rack

According to the company, they’ve spent the last 2 years developing this next generation Rhino-Rack Backbone for the Wrangler JL 4-Door. The rig is fitted to factory chassis points and distributes the weight of the cargo evenly through the body of the Jeep, enabling the ability to carry 264lbs of gear (a sum roughly equal to that of your author’s daily lunch) when installed in conjunction with a Pioneer Platform.

Rhino-Rack says installing the Backbone carrier is a one person job but it is always good to have an extra set of hands to help. The whole works of it can be installed without removing the hard top, apparently. Backbone for the Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door carries a sticker of $449.

2019 Silverado/Sierra 1500 Suspension Kit, ICON Vehicle Dynamics,

This outfit, dealing in off-road suspension components and accessories for trucks and Jeeps, has designed an aftermarket suspension systems for the new GM half-tons. Available in several pre-staged configurations, these systems provide up to a 35% increase in front wheel travel and allow for the fitment of larger aftermarket wheels and tires.

With the more advanced systems (Stage 2 and up), tubular steel or billet aluminum front upper control arms are added to the kit, providing up to a 35% increase in wheel travel while improving suspension geometry and responsiveness. They’re paired with ICON’s 2.5 Series front coilovers and 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shocks have been valved specifically for 2019 GM pickups.

2020 Gladiator 3.5-inch Lift Kit – Rough Country

Everyone reading this site knows the Gladiator is one of the hottest products on the market right now. It only makes sense that one of the most well-known names in the suspension business, Rough Country, would design a lift kit for the thing.

It features a set of front and rear coil spacers allowing owners to retain their brand new coils, preserving the factory ride. For ride quality on- and off-road, this kit also includes Rough Country’s nitrogen-charged N3 shocks.
