If you have a 2019 RZR XP 4 Turbo S, hang up those keys immediately.

Polaris has issued a stop-ride notice for some 2019 RZR XP 4 Turbo S vehicles. Polaris has determined that some 2019 RZR XP 4 Turbo S models may experience decreased brake performance resulting from the presence of air in the brake system.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles.

Polaris is notifying dealers and contacting affected registered owners by mail. They’ll also be sending emails if possible, so be sure to keep an eye on your Junk folder, just in case.

At this time, Polaris is evaluating a repair for this issue.

The RZR XP 4 Turbo S is a halo model for Polaris, offering gonzo levels of capability for up to four riders. Equipment includes 32-inch tires which contribute to its enormous 16-inch ground clearance. The Dynamix Active Suspension will allow for 25-inches of travel before bottoming out on the skid plate as drivers put all 168 horsepower to use.

The cockpit boasts a four-point harness while a premium flat-bottomed Sparco steering wheel will make your rockin’ world go ‘round. A new digital instrument display cluster with seven-inch Ride Command display in the centre dash is tuned to work while the operator is wearing gloves.

Last August, the company recalled model year 2018 RZR XP Turbo S machines for a problem with its rollover protection structure (ROPS). In the event of a high-speed rollover, it was possible the rig’s ROPS could fracture, providing inadequate protection while turning turtle.

To search off-road recalls by model or vehicle identification number (VIN), customers can visit the Off-Road Safety Recalls page of the Polaris website.
