For serious off-roaders, the Off-Road Pro Series is said to provide an aggressive sound in a lightweight package, allowing room for modified suspension by utilizing 2.5” tubing ending with a short 3” tip. The Rock Crawler Series provides the best clearance, leaving room for aftermarket bumpers. This exhaust has a hidden exit just behind the bumper and uses 2.5” diameter tubing.

BAJA designs JL Lights

Baja Designs is also looking to get in on the JL game, crafting new A-Pillar mounts for their Squadron-Series and S2 LED auxiliary lights. They mate up to the JL’s factory mounting locations, with no trimming or modification to the vehicle required. The kit will set you back $84.95 of the finest American dollars.

The lights themselves come in a brace of flavors for the Squadron Series, showing up in Pro and Sport variations. Sports toss out 2260 lumens from four LEDs, while the Pros will sear retinas to the tune of 4900 lumens per light. The provided wire adapters plug and play right into the OEM connectors, allowing the user to retain use of the factory fog switch, with no need for splicing or soldering. Bank on shelling out $324.95 for the Sport set and a couple hundred more for the Pro.

JK Spartan Bumper

Smartly recognizing Jeep owners aren’t going to abandon their JKs en masse simply because the new JL has dropped, Rugged Ridge continues to crank out new bumpers for the old Wrangler. The new Spartan line of front and rear bumpers are designed as an affordable off-road unit offering attractive styling and high-quality components that won’t break the bank.

The Rugged Ridge Spartan bumpers are direct bolt-on replacements for stock JK bumpers, utilizing factory JK fog lights in the design to minimize pricey lighting upgrades. There are several Spartan front bumper variations, including models with standard ends or muscular high-clearance ends for a butch off-road look. Each bumper can be fitted with a winch using the included winch plate or can be accented with an optional overrider. Units start at a hair under $400.

The Rugged Ridge CB/AM/FM Antenna Mount Kits

Breaker breaker: the Rugged Ridge CM/AM/FM Antenna System is a practical solution for those Wrangler JK owners who realize the need for two-way communications while out on the trail but are hesitant to attach unsightly antenna mounts to the factory sheet metal.

Designed to eliminate the need to run a secondary antenna cable to a separate CB antenna, the Rugged Ridge CB/AM/FM Antenna System replaces the factory JK antenna system with a combination of electronic components allowing a CB antenna whip to be mounted in the factory antenna location. Get your ears on for $154.95, not including the antenna. 10-4, good buddy.

Taking this month’s prize for the best product name is the Batwing Awning from Rhino-Rack. While it doesn’t fight Gotham crime , it does provide 270 degrees of refuge from the desert sun. Made from heavy-duty rip-stop fabric, the awning is water resistant and is UPF 50 rated.

Included with all Batwing Awnings are top quality brackets that have a high and low fitting position, so there’s no more need for any U-bolts or having to drill into your racks. Setup is said to be a one-person job, as the Batwing has fully integrated legs that simply unclip from the storage position. Black powder-coated aluminum poles have grip handles to loosen and extend the unit to a maximum height of seven-and-a-half feet.
