Been putting off picking up a new set of side steps or a bumper for your rig? Now might be the time.

Rugged Ridge, the company with barrels of experience building aftermarket parts for Jeeps, has announced aggressive rebates on qualifying consumer purchases of Rugged Ridge Side Steps and Bumper packages between March 15 and April 15, 2018. Depending what you spend your hard earned money on, you’ll get a kickback of either fifty or two hundred of the finest American dollars.

Consumers who purchase a qualifying Rugged Ridge bumper package during the promotional period are eligible for a $200 rebate from the manufacturer. Customers who select any of the qualifying Side Steps, Running Boards, Nerf Bars or Rock Slider products from authorized retailers are eligible for a $50 rebate.

Some examples? Round-tube side steps for models as varied as the CJ7 and ’18 JKU include a $50 spiff. Bumper rebates stretch back even farther, including kits for CJ models going all the way back to 1955. The aggro Spartacus bumpers for modern JKs are on the $200 list, too. No mention is made of rebates for JL Wranglers.

Like speeds on the highway or the amount of alcohol doled out at an open bar, though, there are limits. Maximum rebate for any one individual consumer and address is the greater of $2,000 or 10 rebate requests during this promotion period. Break out your alter ego and fake mailing address if you’re looking for more.

It’ll take the typical 8-10 weeks after rebate end date for processing of each rebate claim and for the rebate check to appear in your mailbox. Just in time for summer fun, then.

Customers will have to fork out the entire cost of their natty new accessory at time of purchase, then send away their rebate form to collect their cash. That form can be found here. You’ll need to have your original invoice and be sure to save the barcode from the product’s package, too.

Rugged Ridge is running this program until April 15, 2018.
