Jeep is doling out the treats this Halloween, dropping a trio of official images of the new JL Wrangler!

Two different Jeep are shown in the photos, a two-door Wrangler Rubicon and a four-door Sahara Unlimited.

The Rubicon is shown in bright red paintwork with its top off, doors removed, and – joy of joys – windshield folded down. It actually appears that the folding windshield may be a bit easier to use in the JL than in the JK, where bugs-in-yer-teeth wheeling involves removing part of the roll bar system. Here, the roll bars remain intact, with the windshield seeming to pop out of a frame and fold forward. Sounds like a good solution to us.

BFGoodrich All Terrain KO2s, natty fender vents, and manual transmission are all present and accounted for on the Rubicon. The overhead shot shows off a pair of hood vents, the removable front bumper end caps, and Rubicon logos on the front seats.

The Sahara is pictured with a killer set of LED headlamps and, as expected, the turn signals have migrated to the leading edges of the JL’s front fenders. Fog lights are mounted in the newly designed front bumper. This Sahara is wearing Bridgestone tires.

Other changes? The fuel filler cap gains a door, helping to keep out mud and rocks during gnarly wheeling exercises. Door handles lose their push button, presumably replaced with levers of some sort on their anterior side. The little nub on the handle of the front door seems to indicate a keyless entry system will be available. Door hinges stand loud and proud on the Wrangler’s flanks.
