The sale price all goes to the Experimental Aircraft Association Gathering of Eagles.

The custom Ford F-22 F-150 Raptor was revealed in early July, and was sold on July 28 for $300,000 at the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture OshKosh. The American automaker has raised over $3 million for the annual event since 2008 by offering collector’s edition vehicles.

Gary Ackerman of Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas, Nevada was the winning bidder, and the F-22 F-150 Raptor found its perfect home since Ackerman serves as Honorary Commander/Ambassador for the United States Air Force’s F-22 Squadron at Nellis Airforce Base in Nevada.

The modified F-150 Raptor features a Whipple-intercooled, 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost engine with 545 horsepower and 660 pound-feet of torque, front suspension and bump stop kit from Modified Addictive Desert Design, Deaver rear spring pack, Fox bypass series shocks, and Innov8 Racing custom beadlock wheels with Falken Wildpeak tires. Braking has been upgraded with Alcon six-piston calipers and oversized rotors, while the interior rocks a Kicker audio system with 1,500 watts.

The exterior sports a unique Sherwin-Williams paint that integrates F-22 Raptor jet cues such as a titanium grille with front silhouette of the aircraft. Other upgrades include LineX sprayed bedliner, stainless steel exhaust from Borla, DeBarti carbon-fiber fender flares, hood, and fender vents, as well as a 1.3-million candela modular off-road LED lighting system by KC Hilites.
