BRP recently announced that a new Cyclops HD Video Camera made its way into dealerships. The new Cyclops 360° Panoramic HD Video Camera (#9700020090) is now available at BRP dealerships worldwide and on its online accessories store in the U.S. and and Canada.
This new model from Cyclops sports a wide-angle lens with a 220-degree vertical angle, which allows it to capture panorama images. Can-Am says that when attached to one of its rigs, like, says, a Can-Am Defender XT HD10, the HD camera supplies a 360-degree horizontal perspective of the riding experience.
The Cyclops 360 also features “car mode,” which knows to hit record when the engine turns on (and turn off when the engine isn’t running). There’s 16 different modes and effects on the camera, including time lapse, loop recording and slow motion. Video resolution options includes up to 4K at 30 FPS and high-grade photos (16MP).
The camera includes a water-resistant case (up to 164 feet/50 meters), and a host of accessories are available including a 32 GB Class 10 micro SD card, magnetic mount for any metal surface, and 10 different mounting brackets for cages and other surfaces. Cyclops also notes there’s a free CG360 mobile app for Apple and Android phones that allows the user to use their phone as a remote control, share videos, and also use the VR-goggle compatibility options, among other features. The MSRP for the new Cyclops 360 HD is $349.99. For more information, visit www.store.can-am.brp.com/category/5/Accessories.
