Head Hoonigan in charge and Can-Am brand ambassador Ken Block recently pulled the cover off of his two new Maverick side-by-side builds. Customized with his own personal style and flair, the unique Maverick X rs 1000R Turbo and Maverick MAX X rs 1000R Turbo side-by-sides will be showcased in the coming year to highlight the performance capabilities of the vehicles.
“My favorite thing about these Can-Am Off-Road Maverick X rs Turbo UTVs is that they’re pretty much a cross between two of my favorite vehicles: a dirt bike and a rally car,” Block said.
The World Rally Championship racer and X Games medalist had his team transformed the 131-horsepower, two-seat Can-Am Maverick X rs 1000R Turbo with parts from Lonestar Racing along with Can-Am accessories and custom Beard Seats. The Hoonigan team then went to work on the four-seat MAX X rs 1000R Turbo was turned into more of “a family getaway rig and mountain bike hauler,” according to a press release from Can-Am.
“I’m super stoked on how these two builds turned out,” Block said.
The Hoonigan Racing Division first took beauty and action shots just outside of its compound in Park City, Utah. The team shared even more of the action from Ken Block on the Hoonigan Racing Division blog.
“Ken Block and his team have produced two stylish Maverick X rs 1000R Turbo side-by-side vehicles,” said Marc-André, director, Global Marketing, Can-Am Off-Road. “They designed each vehicle with personality, functionality, yet didn’t alter the vehicles’ design too much from those models currently available in Can-Am dealerships. These photos have instant appeal to performance enthusiasts around the world.”
Expect to see action from Ken Block on his custom-built Can-Am Mavericks in the months ahead.
