Editor’s Note: Below is a press release for Brandon Arthur’s races at the opening round of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series this past weekend.

“The Stinger” Brandon Arthur was anxious to get the 2016 Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) in gear. He made no secret his goal was to make a run at the Pro Lite championship this season. During rounds one and two at Wild Horse Motorsports Park in Chandler, AZ, “The Stinger “ made serious ground towards his goal by seizing wins on both days in a clean sweep for the weekend.

Not only was he fastest in practice and qualifying, but he also set the fastest lap on his way to the win in round one on Saturday. His speed and consistency sets the bar high for the ultra-competitive Pro Lite class in 2016.

An accomplished mechanic, Arthur does his own work on the truck between races and his many hours spent refining it in the off season has paid dividends. Brandon also made a trip to Wild Horse on March 5th to shake the truck down in the Arizona regional series. Fast right out of the box, he took the win there as well.

“What a great weekend for our team,” said Arthur. “We were fastest in practice and qualifying both days. We had great battles on the track with DeBerti, Harlien, Brooks and Beat, but we were able to get to the front and stay there both days. Arthur’s next Lucas Oil Off-Road race will be April 23rd and 24th at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Lake Elsinore, CA.
