For the second consecutive year, The Mint 400 has named Oskar Blues Brewery the official craft beer of The Mint 400. Oskar Blues Brewery, the original craft beer in a can, offers eight unCANventional beers including Dale’s Pale Ale, Old Chub Scotch Ale, Pinner Throwback IPA, Deviant Dale’s American IPA, G’Knight Imperial Red IPA, Ten FIDY Imperial Stout, Mama’s Little Yella Pils, and Gubna Imperial IPA.  For the 2016 Polaris RZR Mint 400 presented by BFGoodrich Tires, in addition to the original Mint 400 Mama’s Little Yella Pils can, Oskar Blues will produce custom Mint 400 cans filled with  Pinner Throwback IPA and Dale’s Pale Ale.

The 2016 Mint 400 beer cans hit the shelves on Monday, February 1st exclusively at 50
Terrible Herbst locations in the greater Las Vegas area.

Founded as a brewpub by Dale Katechis in 1997, Oskar Blues Brewery launched the craft beer-in-a-can movement in 2002 using a tabletop machine that sealed a single can at a time. Oskar Blues has a history in motorsports that includes a close relationship with Charlotte Motor Speedway and sponsorships of a three car Sprint Car team, a Nationwide NASCAR and Rocky Mountain Motorsports’ Late Model car.  Oskar Blues has two breweries in Longmont, CO and Brevard, NC, but the original Oskar Blues Grill and Brew remains in Lyons, CO.  Oskar Blues Brewery is the largest craft brewer in the country that exclusively cans their beers.
