Honda made big news a few months back with the announcement of its all-new side-by-side, the 2016 Pioneer 1000. We’ll get the chance to drive this new vehicle very soon, but until then Honda has unveiled more detailed information, images and more on its website.
The new side-by-side will be available in four models, including two five-person models or two three-person setups, with all vehicles equipped with what Honda hails as a “best-in-class” 999cc engine. The Pioneer 1000 will also feature an industry-first six-speed fully automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission. Off-road performance is promised with this new machine as well with its 12.9 inches of ground clearance (12.4 for the 1000-5 models).
Pricing starts at $13,999, with the Electric Power Steering (EPS) model priced at $15,199. The Pioneer 1000-5 will start at $16,199, and the Pioneer 1000-5 is priced at $17,199.
