CLEVELAND – Maradyne(r) High Performance Fans will provide the Jarit Johnson Racing team with rugged engine-cooling fans for the 2015 TORC Championship season. TORC: The Off-Road Championship, is the nation’s premiere short-course, off-road racing series.
El Cajon, Calif.-based Jarit Johnson Racing competes in both the Pro 2WD and Pro Light TORC events, with Jarit Johnson making his mark in the Pro 2WD series with a sixth place overall points ranking at the end of the 2014 season. In his first season competing in the TORC Pro Light series, Jessie Johnson, Jarit’s brother, had six top 10 finishes and a 12th place points ranking in 2014. Both men are brothers of one of the most recognized names in racing, Jimmie Johnson, six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion.
The team’s trucks will be equipped with Maradyne’s Champion Low Profile Series 12-, 14- and 16-inch fans, the company’s lowest profile high-performance reversible fans designed for heavy-duty cooling. This demanding off-road race series is the ideal environment for Maradyne fans, which feature sealed, dustproof motors tested to IP68. “The Jarit Johnson Racing trucks will definitely benefit from the reliable cooling power of our Champion Low Profile Fans. The nine-race TORC season kicks off March 28-29 in Sacramento, Calif. and will conclude on September 5-6 in Crandon, Wis., the largest short course off road racing event in the country known as the Daytona 500 of off-road racing.
