Taking your Jeep to the next level has never been easier. The explosion in popularity of the four-door Wrangler Unlimited has spawned a massive offering of parts in the aftermarket. But instead of having to go through an outside party to modify your Jeep, Mopar’s new line of Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) offers upgradable options that you can have installed at your local dealership or performance parts shop.
Jeep and Mopar brought out seven cool concept vehicles at this year’s Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, but of those seven there were three that Mopar specially decked out in Jeep Performance Parts to highlight some of its newest products it now offers, or will soon offer, through the Mopar catalog. Whether you’re looking for suspension lifts, body armor, wheels, bumpers, axles or other upgrades, there are over 100 factory parts available from Mopar for all Jeep models, and what’s great about the JPP line is that they are engineered by the same teams that designed and engineered these impressive Jeep vehicles.
One of the vehicles brought out by Mopar was the Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Responder concept. This purpose-built rig is designed to traverse the world’s harshest terrain to respond to any vehicle emergency with spare parts and tools stored in the built-in drawers and compartments of the cargo box. The Red Rock Responder is outfitted with the new JPP high-top fender flares, JPP 17-inch beadlock wheels and all-new JPP 4-inch suspension lift among other cool Jeep Performance Parts.
HIGH TOP FENDER FLARES
The JPP High Top Fender Flares maintain a low center of gravity while making room for a 35-inch tire without a lift, or a 37-inch tire with two inches of lift. They attach directly to the production mounting holes with no sheet metal trimming. High Top Fender Flares are available in black to match other black parts on the Wrangler. They can also be painted to match your Jeep’s color.
WRANGLER BEAD LOCK WHEELS
The JPP Wrangler Beadlock Wheel features a split five spoke design with the proper 12mm offset to run a 35-inch tire with a 2-inch lift. The final production wheel will be street legal and DOT approved. It will also offer a unique wheel design that allows the tire to be installed in the normal bead seats or the outer bead in the lock seat. The JPP beadlock wheel has a satin black finish with silver painted forged beadlock and will be available in 17 x 8.5 inches.
