Racers took to the qualifying course in Johnson Valley yesterday to vie for starting positions for Friday’s main King of the Hammers event. Over 100 racers qualified on day one, with another batch of racers hitting the course again today.

Previous KOH Champion Erik Miller posted the fastest time in yesterday’s qualifying. His time of 2 minutes, 6.5 seconds edged out Corey Kuchta (2:12.160) and Andrew McLaughlin (2:14.160) in second and third, respectively.
