Next month, Toyota plans to unveil its newly redesigned 2016 Tacoma at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. As Toyota notes, “The all-new 2016 beast hits the stage at 12:50 p.m. EST, Monday Jan. 12.”
The company did offer up another image of the truck, this time of the front end and grille on the new Tacoma and not just a tidbit of the rear tailgate as they did previously. This view shows the headlights, grille and part of the front bumper.
Toyota also recently posted this video teaser:
We’re looking forward to more news on the truck, but in the meantime we’re prepping our 2015 Mid-Sized Truck Shootout, featuring the all-new Chevy Colorado, the Nissan Frontier, and the Toyota Tacoma, which has been the best-selling midsize pickup for the last 10 years, based on industry sales data as of November 2014. The diminished mid-sized truck market seems to be heating up. Stay tuned.
