Portland, OR – Truck and automotive accessory manufacturer, Bushwacker, is using Ford’s 2015 F-150 pickup as a platform to build a highly capable off-road support vehicle. The truck, which will debut at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas (Nov. 3–7), will feature upgrades to increase off-road performance; support items such as spare tires, fuel cans, air compressors, and recovery gear; and exterior accessories that add a rugged style.
The truck will wear Bushwacker’s signature Pocket Style® Fender Flares, which provide extra tire coverage to protect the vehicle’s paint from mud, dirt, and debris. In addition, aftermarket parts from ARB, Bestop, CargoGlide, Hi-Lift, Mac’s, Mickey Thompson, Skyjacker, Stampede, Vision X, and Warn Industries will help the new pickup get to challenging offhighway locations, aid in vehicle support once there, and look great in the process.
The truck will be located in the Bushwacker booth (#30017) and will also be the backdrop for the inaugural Bushwacker Founder’s Award, which will be presented to the builder of the best truck or SUV at the annual SEMA Show. The award will be presented by Bushwacker’s founder, Jerry Logan, and will recognize a builder’s passion for the automotive aftermarket.
