Payson, UT – The fourth round of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Motocross League of America presented by Fly Racing will take place on September 19-21 at the Oak Ridge MX track in Garwin, IA. The MLA is operated by RPM Sports and takes place in multiple locations throughout the United States.
Oak Ridge MX was only built last year, but it is already one of the premier motocross tracks in Iowa. Jon Kriegel and Mark Kouba founded the facility, and it was constructed by Schaefer Tracks. Its inclusion in the MLA in the first year of its eligibility is a testament to its quality. When the gates drop, it is certain that the competition will be fierce!
“We feel very fortunate to have partnered up with Oak Ridge MX and the Kriegel family to bring championship and AMA pro-am racing to Iowa for the first time in decades,” said Allen McWilliams of RPM Sports. “The track is young but has already proven itself to be a favorite in the Midwest. We look forward to three days of great racing and introducing the Motocross League of America to Middle America.”
“We’re excited to see the MLA expand to include Oak Ridge MX,” said Dan Thomas, CEO of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. “It’s the result of a lot of dedication from track operators and race promoters, but it is also the result of the racers who keep the sport alive. It’s for these racers that we sponsor events like this. It’s our way of giving back to the motocross community.”
