RENO, Nev. — Celebrating the memory of the late great SCORE motorcycle champion Kurt Caselli, the SCORE spotlight on tonight’s broadcast of the SCORE Dirt LiveHD Internet show will be the Kurt Caselli Foundation.
A Southern California desert racing star on motorcycles, Caselli died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle accident during last year’s Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 desert race.
Enjoying its 41st season in 2014 as the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Organization, during tonight’s 25th episode of the 2014 SCORE Dirt LiveHD season the other guest will be SCORE motorcycle racing champion Quinn Cody. The show will air at 7 p.m. (PT) at www.score-international.com.
Caselli, who would have turned 31 yesterday (Monday, June 30), was the lead rider for the factory-supported KTM team competing in the SCORE World Desert Championship and was leading in the late stages of the race in last year’s race when the accident occurred.
In addition to remembering a great SCORE desert racer and a wonderful person in Caselli, guest Cody is the spokesperson for the Kurt Caselli Foundation. Cody is also a former teammate of Caselli and won several SCORE Baja races during his competitive career for both Honda and KTM.
