Torrance, CA: Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Justin Barcia is scheduled to undergo surgery today to repair an ankle injury, and will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series. Recovery time is approximately 4-6 months, and will include extensive physical therapy.

“It is an unfortunate situation and we are really bummed for Justin,” stated Team Manager Dan Betley. “He was riding well at the first two rounds and building momentum each time he was on the bike. We were looking forward to a successful season with him. Our best wishes go out to Justin and we hope for a speedy recovery.”
